Stiuletele porumbului OLT prezinta bob dentat, prismatic, de culoare galben-portocaliu.
Stiuletul are forma cilidrica-conica, de 19-20 centimetrii lungime, cu rahis de culoare rosie, si randament de boabe de 81-83 %. Greutatea medie per stiulet este de 235 de grame.
Boabele au un continut de 12,7% proteina, 70,4% amidon si 4,8% grasimi.

Densitatea recomandata pentru porumbul OLT este de 50.000 – 55.000 plante/hectar la cultura neirigata.
La cultura irigata se recomanda o densitate de 65.000 – 70.000 plante/hectar.
