Spino F1 este cel mai nou hibrid de castravete partenocarpic si extratimpuriu. Castravetele Spino F1 este recomandat pentru cultivarea in sere si solarii. Plantele hibridului au o vigoare medie, de tip generativ. Spino F1 este un hibrid ce tolereaza foarte bine atat temperaturile ridicate din vara cat si cele scazute, acesta legand foarte bine. Astfel hibridul Spino F1 se preteaza excelent pentru ciclul I extratimpuriu si pentru ciclul II, pana tarziu in iarna. Numar de seminte de castraveti : 100 de seminte per pachet Spino F1 fructifica foarte bine pe tulpina principala cat si pe lastari, aproximativ 4-5 fructe pe axil. In ceea ce priveste fructul, castravetele Spino F1 are fructe uniforme, cu tepi si fara dungi, de culoare verde inchis. Castravetele se remarca si prin faptul ca nu este deloc amar si are un gust deosebit. Prezinta o toleranta ridicata la mai multi agenti patogeni, dar in special la fainare. Este un hibrid de castravete cu un aspect comercial extrem de placut fiind perfect pentru depozitare si transportul pe distante mai lungi. Spino F1 se recomanda a se consuma atat in stare prospata dar si murat.
